China Abrasive Materials Weekly Price (1-9 OCT): Downstream demand did not rebound
瀏覽:915次      發(fā)布時間:2022-10-10

1. White Fused Alumina

Since the late September, alumina prices in China have been on a downward trend. By the end of the month, alumina prices in Henan and Shandong areas were quoted at RMB2920/ton and RMB2830/ton respectively, with prices lower by RMB110/ton and RMB90/ton respectively than that in August. However, because the current price of white fused alumina is already at a low level, as well as the low industry start-up load, the raw material price cut has not yet had an impact on the price of white fused alumina. It is expected that by the end of October, China's abrasives industry will run to maintain the status quo, and white fused alumina prices will continue to run stable.

2. Brown Fused Alumina

In September, China's brown fused alumina market basically maintained a stable operation, downstream demand did not appear to pick up significantly. As winter heating season approaches, the current industry is more concerned about the impact of environmental protection policies such as the prevention and control of air pollution this year. However, as of September 30 has not yet been released related policies, it is expected that air pollution management intensity will not have a significant increase than in the previous years. It is expected that in the coming week, brown fused alumina prices will maintain stable operation.

3. Black Silicon Carbide

This week, supported by production costs, China's black silicon carbide prices continue to remain firm. It is expected that in the coming week, the price of black silicon carbide may run steadily.

4. Green Silicon Carbide

Although the downstream market demand is weak, due to the high production costs since the beginning of September, China's green silicon carbide prices are supposed to continue to remain firm.
